Our Divisions

Public transport

Since the takeover of Rurtalbahn in 2003, the regional passenger rail transport has become one of the focus areas for RATH Group. We daily run the operation of different networks in Germany. In addition to that, since 2020, we run a bus-network in Düren.

CARGO

Our goods transport division has experienced considerable growth since its spin-off from Rurtal railway in 2011. Our 200 employees of RTB CARGO transport 5.4 million tonne of goods throughout Europe every year.

INFRASTRUCTURE

RATH Group operates the railway network of 110km in Aachen-Düren region and currently reactivates the route of Niederrhein railway. Due to implementing large projects and daily maintenance we have acquired serious know-how in the area of infrastructure.

SERVICES

We offer you our rail-related services. LUKAS training centre takes care of professional training and continuing education of the personnel and VISCOM offers you a wide range of railway-specific IT solutions.
